The story of my name


   My name is Jianqiu Yu, who was born and raised in China. When someone meets a new friend, they always ask for the name and introduce themselves by their name first. 
   To begin with, the meaning of my name is sword and autumn. In china, autumn usually means harvest for farmers and the sword means the spirits to overcome difficulties. It is obvious that my parents wanted me to be successful in the future and achieve my dream. 
    In addition, my name also includes autumn because I was born in September and in my village, it is a relationship for a family to include the same thing in their name, just like the last name. 
   Finally, there is an interesting story about my name, which happened when I was studying in primary school. I have a friend and  classmate in my village called Jianqiao Yu which is so similar to my name, so the teacher and my other classmates thought we were brothers. Everyone used to asked me whether he was my brother. After denying that, my other classmates still called him as my brother.
     I love my name and do my best to fulfill my parents' expectations.

Lost kingdom   In everyone’s mind, they are the king of their own kingdom.  So   am  I.  The  little town  where I was born  i s my little kingdom.  I lived there for  sixteen  years ,  and  I was familiar with everything, just like a king know s   everything of his  kingdom .
